What is Hafla ? The word hafla comes from Arabic and translates to “party” or “celebration.” It holds various meanings and is often used to describe gatherings in the belly dance community. A hafla is a vibrant event where belly dancers come together to perform, connect, and celebrate. These gatherings can range from formal showcases to casual meetups with friends. They offer a welcoming space for dancers of all levels to perform and share their passion with an encouraging audience.
